CHILDRENS EYECARE
Dineen Opticians is well known locally as the optometrist to visit for children’s eye tests.
Sarah herself has had a particular interest in children's eye care since she started working at Booth Hall Children's Hospital in Manchester in 1992. She worked there until its closure in 2009.
As well as performing children’s eye examinations at our practice, Sarah performs paediatric eye exams for Tameside and Glossop Foundation Trust in the local clinics.
WHEN SHOULD MY CHILD HAVE AN EYE TEST?
You may have heard that children cannot have their eyes examined until they can read. This is not the case!
If you are concerned about your toddler’s visual development we recommend coming in to see us for your peace of mind.
We are happy to see children of any age and has several different vision tests using pictures and shapes to make your child’s eye exam a relaxed experience.
